Ryan was off work today so we took a spir-of-the-moment trip up to Cartersville in search of trains. We weren't there 5 minutes before we heard a train whistle.
We drove around chasing trains for a while until we found an old rail yard where Ryan picked up a rusty spike to add to Thomas' collection.
Thomas got to play on the tracks in downtown Cartersville for a while, waiting for another train.
Thomas the train also got a chance to ride the rails.
Our actual reason for going to Cartersville was to get new tires for the truck. We saved a couple of the old tires to make a tire swing for the boys.
