Spring Planting

The boys and I spent the afternoon in the back yard planting our garden. We started by digging in the dirt to loosen it up. Then they helped me write the names of the plants on stakes by telling me the letters they saw on the seed packets. The boys played on the playground while I transplanted seedlings and planted seeds. Thomas found an inch worm to play with. He built a house for it out of rocks. Meanwhile Jacob sampled the onions that are already growing in the garden. At bed time we read the books about plants that we got from the library.
