We picked our first strawberries from the garden! We found 4 bright red strawberries, which the boys promptly ate, and dozens more green ones. We were also excite to see Jacob's bean plant from our seed planting activity has sprouted.
We are going to the zoo tomorrow, so today we read all about animals on the computer and in our science book.
We also watched Barney: Let's go to the Zoo on Netflix.
This evening we went to an open house for a new "holistic" pediatrician in Atlanta. Thomas brought along his trains to keep him occupied. While we were waiting to meet the doctor, Thomas and I had another train math lesson. He initiated it with "Look mommy, three trains plus three trains is six trains!" We added and subtracted trains in different combinations up to six trains.
Before we left we had to read a book that Thomas found in the waiting room - Tootle the train a classic Little Golden Book.
