Today we continued learning about seeds and plants with our homeschool group.
We started out with "circle time" singing songs and reading a book about growing plants.
Next we had a scavenger hunt to see what kinds of seeds we could find around the yard.
Finally we got a chance to plant our own seeds. Thomas chose tomato seeds and Jacob wanted beans.
After we were through playing in the dirt, the moms laid out the picnic while the kids played in Renee's beautiful back yard. Each family brought foods with seeds to share.
Thomas continued playing in the dirt.
No playgroup would be complete without a dip in the creek. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing in the woods.
