We finally went to the new library in East Roswell. It is all clean and new and has lots of windows for natural lighting. It is smaller than I expected and they don't seem to have many books in the children's area. Maybe they will get more as they get established. But that didn't stop us from checking out an armload of books.
We even found a book about Guinea fowl! (We have a Guinea on our farm)
Other than our trip to the library, this is what we did today:
Science
Read a book at the library about leeches that went into detail about common traits of invertebrates. At home we watched YouTube videos about classifying living things and discussed vertebrates and invertebrates.
Grammar
More sound words from our grammar workbook.
Math
Thomas completed a skip counting puzzle, writing numbers from 100 to 1000. Jacob did a page of multiplication problems, 1x, 2x, and 3x.
History
We listened to the Classical Conversations timeline song and talked about our timeline cards in preparation for our first week of CC.
Reading
Thomas read Bones to us.
