Happy Birthday Daddy!

We were introduced to the egg-soaked-in-vinegar science experiment at school this week. The kids did not get to interact with the eggs at all. It was mostly just a demonstration. Thomas wanted to try this one at home. So this morning we put several eggs in a bowl with vinegar and they played with them for a while.

We read more about the chemical reaction that is going on in the vinegar and got some other ideas of what we can do with the eggs after the shell has dissolved.

Jacob's tutor let the kids use megaphones in class this week so Jacob wanted to make his own for at home. We sang our memory songs work through the megaphone.

The real news of the day is Ryan's birthday. The boys and I spent most of the day driving around and shopping for birthday supplies. The new van is a lot of fun. We listened to and sang along with our memory work while driving. Thomas bought a new Minecraft book. Jacob is super excited to have his picture taken.
