High School Math Materials
The boys got to play with Daddy today while I was gone all day. Now I know how Ryan feels when he gets home at night. Thomas and Jacob excitedly greeted me at the door and tried to tell me about every detail of their day before I had even shut the door behind me. The parts that I understood included watching Flushed Away on TV, having a McDonalds cheeseburger picnic on their playground, getting jelly beans from the guy at Trader Joe's and picking out flowers for Mother's Day. Sounds like they had a busy day! I tried to get Ryan to write this post but he politely declined. Of course, he didn't obsessively take pictures of all their activities like I do so you'll have to use your imagination.
While I was out I got the hook-up on a complete set of high school math curriculum. All of the textbooks and teaching materials for Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Pre-calculus including text books, workbooks, answer keys, transparencies, and interactive CDs. Plus, a 4ft x 4ft double-sided dry erase board. Both sides are magnetic, one side has a grid and the other has a polar graph. I know high school math is a long way off for us but I just couldn't pass this up. It's not like math is going to change that much in the next 12 years, so why not start stocking up on things like this now!
