We went over to Kennesaw today to celebrate our friend David's birthday at Bounce U. The kids had a great time sliding down the slide, climbing up the spider web, and playing in the tornado chamber.
Then we went back to David's house for a picnic. He was excited to show off his new Nurf guns and happily shared them with Thomas. This is Thomas's first experience with a gun, or as he called it "shooter" and I was glad to see that he had more fun shooting it up in the air to see where it landed than actually shooting anyone.
I had to go back to work in the theatre this afternoon, but this time the boys got to come with me. We had an excellent baby-sitter, Melissa, who kept them occupied while I was busy.
During rehearsal we let them come into the booth for a few minutes and play with the light board. Thomas had a mini lesson in mixing colors in light from Mr. Jones. Jacob just wanted to turn all of the lights off.
