Tuesday Hike

We met our friends at Hembree park today for our weekly hike. It was a hot day but we quickly walked the loop and headed straight for the creek where it was several degrees cooler in the shade.

Thomas asked me to take this picture of him through a drainage pipe near the creek where we were playing.

Then he wanted to hold the camera and take pictures of us.

We had a small group today so Thomas got to hang out with the older kids.

The kids played several fun games including tag, hide-and-seek, and a new one "Are you sleeping Mr. Bear?"

After we got home I asked Thomas to help me with some chores. He started by vacuuming around the kitchen table and then he decided to continue throughout the rest of the house. He even dumped the dust bin and wrapped up the cord when he was done!
