Calendar

We are getting ready for our big summer trip to Michigan. The boys and I are all very excited. Every day we talk about what we will do there, and most importantly, how many more days until we leave. Finally, today I pulled out our calendar numbers that we have not used in a while. I have been wanting to put magnets on the back of all the numbers so we can stick them to the refrigerator. Today was the perfect day for it. The boys watched as I drew out the grid on a big sheet of paper. I taped it to the fridge and then, one by one, I stuck magnets to the backs of the numbers, in no particular order. Thomas had to put them in order on the calendar grid. I gave him another smaller calendar to use as a guide. He did really well!

Once we got all of the numbers in place I made a special number for the day we leave for Michigan!
