Father's Day

Ryan had to work last night so this morning I *tried* to keep the boys quiet and let him sleep in. When he finally woke up we all went out to breakfast and then Ryan and the boys played for a while until we headed over to Ryan's parents' house. We had lunch and then the boys got to play with their cousins.

After the cousins left, Thomas got to build Tinker Toys with Pa. He really got into the gears this time. I think he has a better understanding of what gears do after playing Mouse Trap last night. They built a very complex "car" that turns a fan on top when it rolls.

Ryan had a surprise for the boys when we got home. He brought home from work two leather bound notebooks. Ryan and the boys had a great time coloring together in their new books!
