Another use for my Excalibur dehydrator - a safe place to store the kids' artwork as it dries. Even if you don't turn on the fan (no really, don't do it, your papers will go flying) with 9 trays that's 15 square feet of extra space. I don't even have 15 square feet of open countertop in my kitchen.
